HOME ECONOMICS

Families are important in Pickett County. The extension service knows families are the foundation of our society and county.
Strengthening families through education is a major objective of Extension Home Economics education programs. The Family Consumer Scciences (FCS) Clubs, Workshops, demonstrations, mass media, home and office visits and special interest meetings are a few of the ways programs are developed.
